   Always blown away by how flavorful and delicious the food is here! The service, attention to detail, and the atmosphere are all top notch as well. This is quickly becoming a top 5 restaurant in our dinner rotation.

   The food here was amazing. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavors were next level. We had scallops, mussels, shrimp and beef skewers. Everything was fabulous!

   Ember Kitchen was amazing! My wife and I really enjoyed it the food was incredible, ambiance of the restaurant and the service was great. I want to thank Sage our waitress she was wonderful and so attentive to our table. Looking forward to going back soon!

   Subject: Delicious but Disappointing Table Experience Ember in Austin delivered on the culinary front, absolutely. The food and drinks were truly amazing, and the service was incredibly attentive and warm. The anniversary card was a lovely touch, and the complimentary champagne, cocktail tastes, and amuse-bouche were generous and appreciated. However, our overall experience was significantly marred by the table placement and the disregard for our special requests. When booking through OpenTable, I specifically requested an intimate table away from high-traffic areas, and clearly noted my wife's severe shellfish allergy and aversion to seafood. It's disheartening that neither of these requests were acknowledged. We were seated at what was undeniably the worst table in the restaurant, right in the thick of the traffic, which completely undermined the intimate anniversary dinner we were hoping for. While the food and service were exceptional, the lack of attention to our pre-arrival requests was a major letdown. While the complimentary items were a nice gesture, the amuse-bouche was caviar, which my wife, with her seafood aversion, couldn't partake in. In short, Ember's kitchen and service staff are top-notch, but the front-of-house needs to pay closer attention to guest requests and ensure they are honored. If they had, our anniversary dinner would have been perfect. As it stands, we left feeling disappointed with the table placement and the disregard for our clearly stated preferences.

   My wife and I have been to Ember Kitchen twice in the last few months and we absolutely love this place. The food is amazing, but the service is exceptional. On both visits we had the Crispy Tamal Ahogada and will likely get it again! It’s so good. The Wagyu steak was delicious, too. We’ll be back!

   We had an amazing time at Embers! Our server, Kaley, was outstanding. Her outgoing personality and knowledge about the menu made the evening an enjoyable experience. Chef sends out a sample drink and pork rinds while you peruse the menu. We started with the Morita shrimp which were delicious. They should be served as an entree!!!! Do not skip trying them. I had the scallops which were cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the filet mignon which was also cooked perfectly. The roasted carrots were a nice addition to the meal. We tried mango sorbet which was some of the best we have had, and another dessert whose name translates to "a sigh" . (can't remember the dessert's name on the menu, but it was wonderful! Make Ember one of your go to places!
