   Their pasta is amazing. Like eating a cloud. It is so light. I da the special of the night. It was kind of like rolled lasagna. It was so light we described it like eating a lasagna pudding. Delicious. The place is broken up into small rooms. We were out in the porch on Sunday night; family night. There are more tables out there and it got a little noisy. Not terrible but just a little noisy. I will definitely go back.

   Not only was the food great…but the amount of server attentiveness, manager touches, and attention to detail was completely unmatched. Loved our first experience, will be back to try so much more!

   Every dish was so flavorful. The noodles are homemade and have a great texture compared to others in SD. I lived in Boston prior to moving to San Diego so my bar for Italian food is set high. You definitely can’t skip the Affogato at the end of dinner- we left wanting more! I went with a group of four and we split one appetizer and bottle of wine (among 3 of us), each got an entrée and affogato and with a 20% tip ended up being $77 which is an amazing deal if you ask me. The service is really prompt and friendly, too. Love the ambience. Decently quiet and feel like you’re eating in someone’s home

    My dining experience at Elvira was great from beginning to end- everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The ambience was more than what I expected. Chris, our server is what made everything special. He was informative on drinks and food, he had a lot of great suggestions that we went for and every was absolutely satisfying. It was my birthday, so they brought out desert on the house and it was delicious. I also got to choose which dessert I could get. Their carbonara is their popular pasta dish and I can’t wait to go back to get some more. You’ll regret not coming here! So glad I got to experience Elvira for my birthday dinner
