   Cocktails were excellent. Server was knowledgeable and very attentive. The pasta was very good and portions were full entree size, not sure why some reviews comments criticized the size. Chose tiramisu for dessert, it was not tiramisu. The tables were a little close together and there was a noticeable odor of fried food.

   All the food selections were amazing. Especially the whipped eggplant and the Shrimp appetizers.

   First time at Élephante. Everything was good. Was not easy to park and finding restaurant entrance was challenging. No exterior signage.

   4 of us ate at Elephante last evening. In the almost 10 years of living in Scottsdale, last evening's meal was the worst we have ever had. The chef needs to back to cooking school. His covers on food were like cement. The appetizers were forgettable. The pasta was awful. Tere were 30+ minute waits between courses. The Veal Milanese(20oz and $80.00) was overcooked and the Milanese was like cement. When we asked to have one order done medium rare we told the chef couldn't do it that way. The service was poor beyond belief.When we ordered a Sicilian Chardonnay the waiter couldn't remember it and had to come back and ask again. When we ordered a 2015 Brunello we were brought a 2016. When we said don't you say something or are you hoping we are too dumb to look at the label. We said 2016 was not a good vintage the captain agreed. He also agreed the waiter should have said something. The bill had an error. The waiter complained about us to us. The noise level was very excessive.

   Absolutely AMAZING! I have nothing negative to say. The atmosphere and decor helps set the vibe from the moment you walk in. Our waitress, Rebecca, was PHENOMENAL! She gave great recommendations and knew everything about everything. The cocktails were high quality and very well crafted. Every single plate was an experience. The whipped stracchino was sooo good! My husband loved the tuna tartare. We both were obsessed with the caviar toast. It’s definitely worth the price. The diver scallops are the best scallops we have ever had! The cream sauce with caviar on top is how all scallops should be served! And pavlova dessert was so light and delicious. We cannot wait to go back. We plan to try the pizza next time.

   There are some redeeming qualities about this place and that’s their service and vibe, but they need to stop saying their portions are family style big sharing plates. I don’t know whose skinny Minnie family is sharing those plates with 3 other people, but I think they’re saying that to compensate for the price. Don’t get me wrong when I went there I expected I was gonna share a large bill for each of us to gets dishes of our own. It was just the server stopping us from ordering each our food telling us “are you sure they’re really big dishes” which led us all to order a Caesar and one pasta that truly would’ve been comparable to a kids dinner at any restaurant. Would recommend and not let the server pressure you into sharing your plates and know your individual tab will be close to $100. So like a fun save to eat there place, but would go again having set expectations now.

   Food was excellent. Drinks from bar very slow. Had to ask multiple times to check on my spouses drink order. Food delivery did not flow well. Appetizers came out very quickly followed by very slow courses. This restaurant was very difficult to obtain a reservation...not sure what all of the hype is about. I would give it Meh.

   The menu is very good with many options. Would recommend sharing plates to experience the many selections. Had to wait to be seated by 10 minutes and the restaurant was less than half full. Server could have been better in water and tea refills. Outside there are no signs of Elephante, so difficult to find. Will go back k again.
