   Service seemed nonchalant to start, but was infuriating by the end. Waited quite a while for drinks and food, asked for the drink menu back to order another round while we waited, then my husband’s steak came but they sent the wrong dish for me. Server apologized, didn’t offer anything to make up for it, didn’t notice or ask to refill our empty drinks (despite us having just asked for the menu to order another drink?) and then never returned. Waited for my food with an empty wine glass, kitchen delivered it, ate it with an empty wine glass, busser eventually came and cleared everything and packed up leftovers and took my empty wine glass. No one ever asked if everything was okay or offered another drink. Server walked by several times before realizing we no longer had anything but leftovers on our table, dropped the bill and said “you did eventually get the dish you ordered right?” Unreal considering the $250 bill.

   Excelent food and service, we asked for another table and wasn’t a problem. The view is amazing and the drinks are delicious.

   Our server disappeared and failed to out our Order in - we had to flag down another server who could not find our server and went ahead and put our order in. This was about an hour after we had gotten there.

   We are fans of Elephante and are regulars here. Today we had a really poor service experience. Out server completely ignored our table from the time that we were seated. Did not approach the table even once - we had to grab his attention to place our drinks orders then for the meal order and even to ask for our check. He did not check on us even once or ask if we wanted more drinks. The tables around us that he was serving were getting adequate attention and multiple visits. This was some kind of a racist dude who did not want to serve a brown skin table. Sad!

   Food was excellent  and the ambience and view was amazing. But the only thing is the lady outside told us there were no tables available so she put us on the waitlist. We waited for an hour, but when we looked up on OpenTable, there were lots of spaces available so don’t rely on the people on the front desk and check OpenTable for reservations and availabilities.

    overall a great night. We booked quickly and easily via Open Table, we were seated immediately, I indicated in my reservation that we were there for her birthday and they gave us an amazing table, our server was friendly and very attentive, and the food was outstanding all around.
