   Food was not good at all and overpriced. It seemed like they didn’t have enough waiters cause service was subpar.

   We went for Sunday brunch and the food was kind of cold when we got there. Maybe it was the restaurants or the plates, but I wish the food could stay a little bit hotter when we serve ourselves.

   Not a fan of the food. The menudo was cold, I tried a kids corn dog it was stale the only item we found was good and warm was the omelette bar

   The Food & value is great! My concern was the cleanliness and service. The waitresses, waiter & buss man do not take proper cleaning procedures when cleaning the tables or handling the silverware. For example, we saw the same them use a dirty cleaning rag to wipe tables & chairs with no proper cleaning solutions. Another example they rotated small appetizer plates from one table to another (people kids were coughing touching these plates). My problem with the service, is everyone except the hostess looked miserable & our waiter was not very attentive. I know El Torito is a mid class restaurant & it’s still nice to have good service & a clean table.

   I tried this locations more time before deciding not to come here anymore. The food was not good at all. Ordered the chicken fajitas and Mazatlan enchiladas (shrimp enchilada) with a side of chicken tortilla soup. The soup was cold and tasted old. The main dishes arrived and the chicken was hard. The rice was overcooked with a taste of old rice. The beans were a disgrace very bland taste. A teaspoon of cornbread and avocado and that’s all. Sorry but I will not recommend or return to this location. They need to step up to the plate and make it better.

   My wife and I are empty nesters with my son and his wife being nurses. Their schedules have them working the holidays. So, going to El Torito for the holidays has become a very cool thing for us to do. My wife and I enjoy the food and the appreciate the service for Christmas (on Christmas day, no less). Ricardo has been the best server we could hope for. Always keeping our mimosas filled. No complaints.

   Wanted to split our party amongst two tables. We had the exact number of guests as reserved - was very unhappy. Asked to be seated together and then they gave us two tables shoved together. Different height tables. So annoying throughout the meal

    We like this place and come here when we are in town but this time the service and the atmosphere were off. The server never came to refill our drinks or ask if everything was going well. He seemed bothered by the fact that we had a free appetizer.. food was just ok this time and felt rushed.
