   Gloria is a phenomenon server and constantly caters to her customers. Food was great. No complaints.

   6 pm reservation honored but downhill from there. The “ambiance” and overall experience was like having your table/dinner at packed Costco checkout counters….with the store lights out. Translation? A frantic, too dark, too noisy assembly line kind of deal. Get you in/out fast as possible. Place was already busy on Friday night. And it looked woefully understaffed…only a few waitpersons for entire dining area. Our waiter who we’ve had before was courteous, pleasant, helpful but seriously high-strung. Restaurant was too dark and menus could barely be read so cell phone flashlights were used by us and others all around the joint. Took forever to get water and a beer. Our appetizer was forgotten so we canceled it when the meals finally arrived which took 30+ minutes for tacos and sirloin steak fajitas. The latter — for $26 I believe — offered tough but warm not hot meat, half of it gristle, very few onions, no peppers, half a small bowl of beans, nearly cold rice, about a tablespoon of guacamole, same amount of cheese. Tortillas were hot. All for $26!! The food was delivered by someone else and basically dropped off quickly as possible then he was gone. No question to us like did we need anything, etc Our waiter came around once during the meal to bring more chips/salsa but that was it. No further checking on us… i.e. was everything ok? More water? Another beer? Etc We noticed several tables of people who came in after us… got their appetizer we were supposed to and their food before us. We don’t blame the waiter. He was running. One person can only do so much with multiple parties to take care of. And he doesn’t prepare the food. He mentioned there was a manager on the floor when apologizing about our appetizer… but where was he or she?? We saw no one who appeared to be “management” and in our view they should’ve been ever-present, running hard themselves, helping out. For $56+ we won’t be back anytime soon. Rubio’s has better food/ambiance/value at half the price.

   I was excited to see an El Torito as I haven’t been in years. The service was great. And the food was tasty. I will be back for sure

   It seems that they didn't have enough people to take care of customers and if it's buffet, it's ok. However, if you order from the menu, it will take for longer time than what we expected, and many of us just got food from buffet.

   Brunch selection was good. Service was great. Only suggestion is they should offer pricing options without the bottomless mimosas and for kids. $37.50 is a little pricey considering it’s your traditional breakfast with simple Mexican entrees.

   Great service by our server Eddie. There’s no table in the bar area for happy hour we had to stay in the patio area.
