El Tajín fue fundado en 1993, desde el primer momento con una personalidad única. La propuesta es cocina mexicana con recetas e ingredientes tradicionales; se ha caracterizado por una cocina de sabores auténticos, reflejando la admiración por las raíces y manteniendo un balance entre sabores antiguos y actuales.

Con técnicas bien logradas tenemos un interés latente por satisfacer los gustos de los comensales. Es simplemente algo más que un restaurante: es un centro dinámico de defensa por la cocina tradicional mexicana como Patrimonio Cultural Intangible de la Humanidad y sede en México (Convivio Coyoacán) del movimiento internacional Slow Food.

Luminoso, tranquilo y rodeado de verde, así es El Tajín. El Restaurante se encuentra dentro del Centro Cultural Veracruzano, en el histórico de Coyoacán, a 300 metros del hermoso Centro, sobre la amplia avenida Miguel Angel de Quevedo y rodeado de Iglesias.

Llegamos muy temprano había poca gente nos dijeron que los chiles tardarían y lo aceptamos pero no estoy de acuerdo que servían todas las mesas y la nuestra que fuimos de los primeros en llegar y pedir fuimos de los últimos en ser servidos, todo lo demás muy bien

La comida fue excelente, les falta personal, muchas mesas pocos meseros, la música muy alta como de boda. Cuando llegamos nos quería, la hostess, una mesa horrible, pegadas la entrada, le pedimos cambio de mesa y no quería porque todas estaban RESERVADAS, a lo que nosotros le dijimos que también teníamos reservación y nadie nos había dicho que en la reservación teníamos que especificar que mesa queríamos, cabe mencionar que cuando llegamos había muchas mesas libres. Después de discutir por fin la señorita nos dió otra mesa

Fuimos aprovechando q después de comer teníamos boletos para teatro ahí mismo. Recordaba q alguna vez fuimos especialmente a comer chiles en Nogada y en efecto están bastante dignos. Toda la comida está muy sabrosa!!!

Todo delicioso, pasamos un gran rato. Los chiles en nogada, espectaculares!! Solo no salió un pedazo de plástico en la sopa, pero estaba tan buena que no nos importó.

Todo estuvo perfecto, la atención, los alimentos, el precio, tal vez sugeriría que como hace tiempo tuviera algo de música tranquila en vivo. Creo que con esto sería redondo.
