This is a remarkable international restaurant in Puerto Vallarta since 1973 for its outstanding quality, service & unique romantic ambiance. This four level restaurant is situated on the rooftop of Hotel Suites La Siesta, nestled on a hillside in the center of downtown Puerto Vallarta & only three blocks from the Malecón & beach. Each of the four floors are distinctive, offering two open air terraces as well as two inside salons one of which features a baby grand piano & our pianist playing romantic tunes all evening long. The most impressive attribute of this restaurant is the 360º view that is truly unparalleled & offers striking vistas of the entire bay & city of Puerto Vallarta. The specialties of the house include giant sautéed prawns, Caesar salads & select cuts of choice beef.
We are located at Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez, esquina Miramar #689 Colonia Centro Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco.

    Went here 35 years ago! Went again January 13, 2025 and still the most picturesque and most wonderful and delicious food in Puerto Vallarta! Prepared right at my table! I truly recommend this one for an unforgettable experience!

    First of all, the view is amazing! We must have came at an odd time because there wasn’t any other customers there when we went, which was odd, but all the attention was on us so that was nice. The drinks were great and so was the food. The side portions could’ve been bigger, but the taste was great. The live music was great as well.

    Food was way over priced for the quality. Views are great but the restaurant needs some major revamping, it was dead and the service was just ok. Had to go to the bar to order more drinks server never asked us for more. Just very over priced, basically paid for the view!

    When you go there, it’s like walking back into time with the beautiful ceiling, woodwork, and staircase that leads to the rooftop with breathtaking views. You can feel it has a lot of history. I’ve been going there for 36 years now, and I’m not that old Lol, but anyone has been coming here for a while knows how popular the El Panorama was and all the many many people that have been there. I even remember the photographer that we come around to each table to take your pictures . In fact, I might still have those pics 😁. It needs better advertising because it’s still an amazing place with amazing sunsets. I remember back in the days when they would flash their lights to the pirate ship down below, so the ship would set off the fireworks show right in front of The El Panorama. And I love the flambé dinner, dessert, and coffee 😁 Anyone who has been coming for a while knows how popular the El panorama has been and should be again. Please try it, especially for sunset 🌇 ☺️

    The service and dinner were outstanding. The food, view/ambience was absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend a taxi and not a Uber. The restaurant located a top of an old hotel (beautiful) can be difficult to locate.
