   For some reason, the dining room was closed and we had to dine in the lounge. That was very disappointing. Moreover, the food was not too good as it was late. My taco meat was dry and tough from sitting under a heat lamp. For after theater dining avoid this option unless the restaurant is really open and operating.

   Good selection of dishes at reasonable prices. A restaurant of this quality is rare in hotels these days as many are looking for excuses to not be open in the first place or only have a few items on the menu hoping no one will eat there. This restaurant gives reason to ‘eat in’ while staying at the hotel.

   Food was cold, my steak was full of gristle, chicken was very dry. Server, Hayden, was excellent. Very disappointing meal even for a hotel restaurant

   Mezquite Grill has expanded their menu with great items and service has continually improved since opening. They can now handle being busier during the busy winter season downtown. They have a great cocktail menu as well.

   The staff was very friendly. Our table was seated promptly. Our food was fair: the prime rib sliders seemed more like burnt end sliders as the meat was dry and overcooked. The chicken tortilla soup was too salty. The salad was delicious. Would we return?There are far too many choices of Mexican restaurants close by, so we would only return for convenience not taste.

   Service was VERY slow! Watched several people leave because they were not being attended to AND watched several people leave before they even got in to the restaurant because there was no one at the front. The food (when we finally got it) was very good. Don’t think I’ll be returning

   I love this place. I come here only for breakfast/brunch. Service is super, and the food is awesome. The views down into the old Sonoran neighborhood to the south are inspiring. Parking is free if you have a reservation. I have been here four-five times in the last two months. I’m sure I’ll come again soon.

    It was Thanksgiving Day and I needed a last-minute reservation but didn't want a traditional full turkey spread. Glad I found El Mezquite Grill. Attentive service, tasty food and nice environment. Not a typical day but I wouldn't hesitate to visit again during normal times.
