   We had an amazing experience at El Chorro. The food was cooked perfectly. The service was exceptional. Tye was great. Very attentive without being too intrusive.

   Very slow to be seated even though we arrived at our reservation time. Then we were seated in a poorly heated back room and had to ask to be relocated to somewhere with heat on a blustery 40 something degree evening. This was inconvenient, but the main issue was that the food just wasn’t very good. Beef Stroganoff was overpowered by onions. Chilean Sea Bass was a bit overcooked with a bizarre side dish that I couldn’t even identify (I thought it was supposed to be potatoes, maybe it was turnips???). Anyway, it overall was icky. Even one of our longtime favorite dishes, the shrimp cocktail, was only so so, with a dipping sauce that was another hard to identify concoction. El Chorro has been a go to for us for years, but after tonight, we won’t be going back in the foreseeable future. I wonder if it was sold to some kind of a corporate chain? The only vestige of its previous quality was the signature sticky buns. They remain delicious, but I would not order any of the other items we had again. My advice is just don’t go; spend your time and money elsewhere.

   The Oysters Rockefeller is the Best I’ve had, hands down, in years! Order it! The service is always attentive and consistent, so bring your friends to enjoy a first class meal and culinary experience.

   Fabulous as always. Grew up in Scottsdale . Now live in Washington,, but came back for my 70th … El Chorro is always my favorite for steaks!

   We reserved a table outdoors having found it can be loud inside. Our server Vicky took good care of us. We weren’t rushed. We were celebrating our recent wedding anniversary with friends we hadn’t seen in a while. As the sun moved, staff were able to move our umbrella to block direct sunlight - thank you! We did not ask for gluten free, vegan or vegetarian options.

   El chorro is a gem. Great ambience and outdoors areas and views. The staff was awesome and inviting from the moment we checked in. The food was great! Appetizers and entrees. This on top of great tasting cocktails makes for an enjoyable evening. We have already booked another dinner here!
