    This my first time at El Alma. Lots of great menu items and drinks. I had a hard time deciding- ordered the Huenos Franceses, which was excellent. Service was great. Sat out on the patio- lovely! Definitely recommend El Alma South!

    They did something to that space acoustically when it changed to el Alma and the restaurant is very loud now. Also, $1.50 wellness charge is added to each bill, which is not a problem, but the restaurant makes no mention of it at the table or on the menu, which isnt super transparent in my opinion. You’ll only see that charge when you get your receipt.

    The food took a while to get and wasn’t good. The service was slow and uninviting. I rarely leave reviews but I doubt we’ll be back.

    This was my first visit to the new El Alma location. They kindly put us in one of the separated private areas and I will remember that for all future celebrations. Our waiter provided great menu advice and was funny. Great experience.

    WAY too loud at this restaurant. The food was good, our server was excellent (all staff was friendly and hustling). But they need to do something about the loudness. (and I am not old).
