   Peter the GM and excel our waiter were amazing. Could not have asked for a better Friday night….our first week in Chicago living in the Gold Coast. Spectacular!!!!!!

   I have gone to this restaurant for special occasions and I always have a great time. I have also had the same service person, Raymond, who is simply the best. Thank you to the restaurant for always celebrating my special occasions in a fabulous way.

   The service was amazing! However, the food was a bit underwhelming… I normally like to leave positive reviews on food. Normally if I don’t like food I don’t leave reviews, but the service and staff were amazing so I wanted to give them there props. I just feel like the food and drinks for that quality and price I would have rather went to like nobu. Honestly I think the place is okay for a first try but for the same experience and a bit better quality I’d recommend another spot. I got the sushi from the happy hour and regular menu. Good for a first time try but unfortunately I wouldn’t go back if I was looking for a quality happy hour or sushi menu.

   Love this space downstairs...the staff, Ivan, Chloe, Sergio and the entire team are wonderful as are the sushi chef and team. I love the spicy tuna on crispy rice as well as all the sushi. Pricey but amazing and the ambiance is exceptional so...it is my go to neighborhood spot and I highly recommend. The outside tables are also fabulous in the warmer months but I still prefer the BAR. Very cozy!

   Great first experience. The season cocktails are amazing. Pleasantly surprise by the entire menu, not just the favorites. The service is great as well. My personal favorites are the toro and waygu nigiris, King crab roll and the mozarella stick.

   We were sat an hour late, then waited nearly 30 minutes for a drink. The place seemed chaotic with a seemingly frazzled, disinterested staff. We had a 7:00 reservation and ate dinner at 9:30. Not going back anytime soon.
