    Food was good but it was a poor choice for an anniversary dinner. It was way to loud and we were put in a table right next to the bar where it looked like everyone was having a good time after work on a Friday which is fine but a poor choice to take your wife for a nice anniversary dinner.

    After visiting the Ft Worth location and comparing the two…there was no comparison in our service and atmosphere. The Eddie V’s here in San Antonio needs to bring their atmosphere up a notch and the server we had in Ft Worth truly set a very high bar! Our server was very nice and accommodating at the San Antonio restaurant. Just the overall experience failed in comparison to our Ft Worth experience!

    Worst experience at an Eddie V’s. Food was sub par and servers purposefully waited until time for us to order main courses to tell us they were missing 30% of the steak and seafood options due to delivery delays. I understand weather and circumstances can impact availability, but my issue is with the deceptive approach to taking drink and app orders, additional rounds of drinks, and many interactions with us without sharing the news of the extremely limited menu. It seemed purposeful and meant to keep us in the dark. Why let our table take the 45 minutes+ to pick main courses before telling us that 30% of the options were no available?

    Sat at the oyster bar with Alex and of course our food and service was outstanding. Started with shrimp cocktail and sashimi both were fresh and delicious. Then we Had the lamb chops and filet both cooked to perfection. Always recommend Eddie Vs. never disappointed. Highly recommended
