   The filet trio of medallions were exceptionally good! May be the best steak I've ever had, perfectly prepared with very tasty toppings. The service was also very good. Their prices are up there at over $100 per person incl tip by the time you're out the door, especially given that most dishes including the trio are ala carte, but for a special occasion I would highly recommend the steak itself. One person in our party got the Chilean sea bass, and she found it to be excellent as well. The only disappointment w/the food was that the carrot cake was way too sweet due to the many thick layers of icing and the unnecessary caramel topping. Unfortunately, while it appears to be a very pretty dining room (in the main dining room) each of us noticed numerous issues with the lack of maintenance and cleaning in the restaurant itself. These are some of the issues we noticed: rickety chairs that either need to be replaced or all of the legs tightened, VERY dirty/stained carpeting in the section of restaurant where we were seated (dining room off the bar). It was distracting and definitely not in keeping with this class of eatery. Both the men's and women's bathrooms required maintenance and repairs -- the men's room ceiling was literally leaking water and puddling on the floor by the toilet, the fixtures were dirty and the trash was overflowing. In the women's bathroom, both sinks were holding water and draining extremely slowly. Also, someone in a stall flushed their toilet while I was washing my hands and the water was extremely hot - I think anti-scald faucets are a minimum requirement that should be in place. All in all due to the high quality of main entrees and service, I am giving 4 stars overall, but these issues need to be addressed.

   It's an experience when dining here and we'll worth it. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was perfect and service was superb.

   Our server was attentive. Drinks, apps and salmon entree were tasty. However, the prime rib eye was not impressive. Tough, overcooked. For a restaurant that bills itself as a steakhouse, it should have been better.

   Everything was exceptional! From the greeting to to our server Sarah to the Food! Won’t go wrong with the 16 oz. Prime Ribeye. The loaded baked potato was the size of a footfall plenty to share. Will definitely be back!

   Our main courses and sides came out lukewarm. It’s Christmas. I was grateful the staff was working on the holiday so I did not have to cook. They were really nice despite the food. Dessert of chocolate layer cake a la mode was the highlight! So service 10/10.

   Eddie Merlot’s exceeded all my expectations and delivered an unforgettable dining experience! From the moment we walked in, the elegant ambiance and warm hospitality set the tone for a perfect evening. The service was impeccable—our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations. The menu offered a fantastic selection, and every dish we tried was a masterpiece. The steaks were cooked to absolute perfection, tender and bursting with flavor. The sides, especially the [specific side you enjoyed], complemented the meal beautifully. And don’t even get me started on the desserts—they were the perfect sweet finale! What truly sets Eddie Merlot’s apart is the attention to detail. From the presentation of the food to the cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere, everything was designed to make us feel special. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just treating yourself to a high-end dining experience, Eddie Merlot’s is the place to be.
