   It was amazing! I had an amazing time tonight! I came to Earls in West Vancouver with my parents to celebrate my mom’s birthday. I’m glad we went there. Everything was awesome! Our server was excellent. His name is Connor, and he is top notch. He is excellent at his job. Thank you for an amazing night! My mom is very happy and my dad and I’m very grateful.    Racist and rude waitress. We used to be regulars of this place but after interact with this kind of untrained people we are done with this place. Furthermore, we are assessing legal action against them Avoid at all costs

   Our reservation was pushed by 30 minutes only 4 hours prior to our originally scheduled reservation. I had made this reservation weeks in advance and was keeping the restaurant updated with any head count changes regularly. One half of our party was seated much later than the other half. Our party was only served by one server when we had two separate tables and over 20 people. Our server only took our orders from one side of the table and made people sitting at the further side yell down their orders to her. We also had to pass drinks and food from one side of the table to the other side, despite the fact that there was ample room for a server to come to the other side and take orders or serve food and drinks. One person in the party is anaphylactic to peanuts and this was identified when she ordered yet she was almost served peanuts. Lastly, we sat for over 3 hours and received our food in a very delayed fashion. We could have finished our reservation much earlier if there had been better service.

   Service and food was great. But it the music was WAY to loud. I couldn't hear the person next too me without shouting at them and I couldn't hear the person opposite to me at all.

   Enjoyed the Dine Out dinner. Had the salmon & beef sushi/ steak with frites/ sticky toffee pudding ~ all very tasty, steak cooked perfectly & delicious dessert. Portions were good for our moderate appetite. Only issue was asking 3 times for vinegar for frites which were getting cold. But generally good service. It was busy so not much chatting with servers but they were congenial. We will definitely go there again ~ especially for Dine Out.

    They were understaffed which lead us to have to wait 15 minutes despite already having a reservation. We did the dine out menu and the server who was also a host took our order and didn’t even write it down, I was worried my order would be wrong and exactly that happened. They messed up my starter twice and kept bringing the wrong dishes even though I clarified each time. The servers would nod while I was talking and didn’t bother repeating what I said, which could have saved them from screwing up three times. Yes, they brought the wrong dishes three times. Once, even twice, I get maybe he was overwhelmed but three times makes me think they really dont care. Overall my worst experience at Earl’s so far and I’ve been eating here for two decades.
