Located at the corner of York and Bremner, e11even features a menu of updated North American classics. Favourites such as crab cakes, jumbo shrimp cocktails, roast chicken, fresh fish and dry-aged steaks are complemented by classic sides like grilled asparagus, truffled parmesan fries and truffled mac and cheese. Nostalgic desserts complete the experience and include such favourites as sticky toffee pudding and warm nut chocolate brownie.

With plush leather banquettes, wooden table tops, and antique mirrors, e11even offers a modern, yet comfortable Rockwell-inspired design. A communal table made from excavated hemlock timbers in the bar area, is the perfect place to gather with friends while sampling some of our specialty cocktails.

It started off rough as the reservation that I made 3 weeks prior and confirmed the day before was not showing up according to the hostess. At first she said sorry we are fully booked, next was an offer to sit at some long bench. I showed my reservation and confirmation she talked with someone and found a table but advised we needed to be out in an hour a half due to another reservation. We were there for a show so not a problem but I was definitely not happy. The table they sat us at was great and the server Sarah was amazing, food was good and will definitely be back just not sure I’ll use OpenTable to make the reservation for a planned event like this dinner was.

I always like e11even but it was a major disappointment tonight. I ordered Butternut squash soup which was amazing; but the Miami short ribs were not edible as all 4 pieces were totally chewy! The dish description on the menu was totally deceiving - It is “Korean” (not Miami) short ribs and so when I pointed it out to the server, he even agreed with me. However nothing was done - the server simply informed me that he would let the chef know and that’s it. In addition, knowing outright how bad the dish was, the server recommended it to the next table as the new customers sat down. I am unsure if I would go back to nor recommend this restaurant to others.

Chicken pot pie special is outstanding, with puff pastry crust and a very nice 'house' salad that is way better than a mere house salad. Veggie burger also outstanding and tastes like a meat burger Great service too!
