   Chefs Kevin, Katlyn, and Jonathan were incredible! We sat right at the kitchen window, and the experience, food, and service were outstanding. Our server (unfortunately, I can’t remember her name) was so kind and knowledgeable. We’ll definitely be coming back!

   DOPO is the new staple in the city! Gorgeous pasta dishes, great antipasto to add to it, and a great Italian wine list! You won’t be upset with your night at DOPO. Come hungry!

   We loved the food at DOP, especially the whipped ricotta and parm veal. The parm veal is no longer on the menu at DOPO (when we went at least), the server let us know that the menu just came out today so unsure if they change their menu. The whipped ricotta is not the same as it was before but was still good and the best of the meal, pickles and bread with the ricotta was good. We got the lasagna - was 23 layers but the pasta was too thin and it honestly just felt like I was eating ground beef. The white sauce barely had a hint of truffle, taste was bland overall. We also got the steak that came with a side of Caesar salad. The steak was okay but nothing to rave about. The salad had whole anchovies which we were unaware of - I love anchovies in salad but I ate a whole anchovy to myself as I was unaware there was a whole one in the salad on top of it being chopped up in the sauce. Service was not as attentive as it used to be, we ordered a bottle of wine and poured it ourselves after the initial pour. Overall, disappointed and would not come back. Unfortunate because our previous experience at DOP was excellent.

   We went to DOPO to celebrate my wife’s birthday and loved literally everything! The hostess and our server were both wonderful and the unique space set a perfect tone for a night out. We had ordered drinks upstairs at Bar Rosso, as we were early for our reservation. Both cocktails were fabulous and we enjoyed them back downstairs at DOPO alongside the whipped ricotta and green tomatoes to start. Our meal was delicious (thank you to our server for the recommendations on both food and wine!) and I couldn’t possibly say enough good things about the tirimisu to end the evening. We will be back :)

   We had the New Year’s Eve Tasting menu with wine paring. Everything was outstanding. So happy to have this restaurant in our neighbourhood.

   We went to their NYE fixed coarse dinner last night and absolutely everything was on point from the service,food not to mention the amazing cocktails it was an amazing night. As a frequent restaurant going couple in the Calgary area where there is an abundance of great restaurants, this my friends is a must go to spot for any occasion. Don't believe us ,go see and experience it for yourselves.
