    Remains a beautiful space to spend time. Whilst the food doesn’t try to push any boundaries and is perhaps a little underwhelming, it’s still good. The service was outstanding, which ensured we had a really lovely experience.

    We were disappointed when we were placed next to a family of 4 children. One of them about 6 months the old and in a high chair. The baby was a typical 6 month old and had a few grizzles. It certainly had an effect on our evening.

    Donovan’s = excellence! From the warm welcome, to the diverse menu, the delightful waiter skills of Isabella, and the most delicious food, this was the perfect way to celebrate my friend’s 95th birthday. Thanks to all at Donovan’s.

    We are a couple living overseas who return to Melbourne once every few years..... for us a dinner at Donovans is a MUST DO and we have never been disappointed....in fact we rave about Donovans to our friends...we have been clients of Donovans for years...we will be back...hopefully soon

    We enjoyed really delicious food at Donovan’s - we loved the specials, particularly the anchovies and kingfish crudo. The service was excellent, our waiter was super friendly and very attentive and our water was always topped up. I’d definitely recommend dining here, although the only challenge was that we were seated by the window facing the sun and it was uncomfortably warm as the lightweight blinds gave little shelter from the heat!
