Took around an hour for us to receive all of our mains from when we received our pizza and appetizer. Pizza was good and calamari was meh. Our server did not check on us after those dishes were finished and already cleaned up, and seemed shocked that we were trying to flag him down at the 40 min mark. Shouldn't you have known we still didn't receive any of our mains? 10 minutes later, two mains finally came out, then another 5 minutes passed before we received another 2 mains and the last main didn't come out for another 10 minutes after that. Seemed like the order was messed up and our 2 branzinos became 1, even after our server double checked about what branzino menu item we wanted for the two dishes in the beginning of the meal. Also, our utensils were taken after the pizza and calamari plates were taken earlier in the meal, and even after asking for utensils, it took 10 minutes for us to get new utensils! Seriously, wtf. I get that it's mother's day, but it didn't feel like it was insanely busy. So basically everything was cold except for the last dish since that was forgotten, so that arrived around the time as the utensils. To add insult to the meal, the last dish, the branzino had a fairly large bone in it. Flavor on food was good, but execution was bad. Pork chop was overly dry. Brother said pasta was good though. Would I come again? Absolutely not. Would I recommend? Food was so so. For $200+ for two I would have expected to be more impressed. Specifically, they could use more pasta choices in the menu.
Bruschetta (veggie) was under seasoned. Pizza was not very good. Dough was not very tasty. Buratta was ok!
Service was very inattentive. Made the visit unpleasant.

Went here for mother's day, and the lunch started off well, but went downhill. Took around an hour for us to receive all of our mains from when we received our pizza and appetizer. Pizza was good and calamari was meh. Our server did not check on us after those dishes were finished and already cleaned up, and seemed shocked that we were trying to flag him down at the 40 min mark. Shouldn't you have known we still didn't receive any of our mains? 10 minutes later, two mains finally came out, then another 5 minutes passed before we received another 2 mains and the last main didn't come out for another 10 minutes after that. Seemed like the order was messed up and our 2 branzinos became 1, even after our server double checked about what branzino menu item we wanted for the two dishes in the beginning of the meal. Also, our utensils were taken after the pizza and calamari plates were taken earlier in the meal, and even after asking for utensils, it took 10 minutes for us to get new utensils! Seriously, wtf. I get that it's mother's day, but it didn't feel like it was insanely busy. So basically everything was cold except for the last dish since that was forgotten, so that arrived around the time as the utensils. To add insult to the meal, the last dish, the branzino had a fairly large bone in it. Flavor on food was good, but execution was bad. Pork chop was overly dry. Brother said pasta was good though. Would I come again? Absolutely not. Would I recommend? No.

Inventive and delicious Italian. The Italian wine list is substantial. There is also a wide range of good house wines available in glass to liter carafes.
Service has generally been great. There were a couple of issues this visit, but immediately resolved.

Amazing authentic Italian specialties! The ravioli were perfect. One member of our party ordered the homemade pasta with a spicy marinara and it was delicious. We recommend it be added to the regular menu! We’ll be back, for sure.

We always have a fantastic dining experience at Donato's. The quality of the food is delicious, the flavors, and range of dishes are superb, and the ingenuity of the recipes and tastes always impressive. Donato's is a fantastic restaurant. We always have a wonderful dinner and leave there feeling very happy with the entire dining experience.
