   Armondos NEVER disappoints! The food is upscale but also like your sitting at your grandmothers table. If that makes any sense. The service and atmosphere is unmatched by any place we have ever been too. They make you feel at home and never rushed. The experience is meant to be like you are in Italy. At least that is the vibe we get every time we go.

   Great place for a first-rate dining experience. This is exactly the restaurant I would create if I opened my own restaurant! Friendly, knowledgeable staff making awesome food from quality ingredients in a setting that is comfortably classy; not fussy, but with all the right touches to still make it special. A place to feel like family whom the hosts really like!

   I looked up best places to dine in Providence and this place was on the list .we had a fantastic meal and the service was excellent. We had the Armando experience where he prepared a 5 course meal of his choice for us and we were very happy with what he prepared. Definitely going back .

   This is a little place, a little out of the way, and certainly a worthwhile trip. We were greeted by Armando, owner and chef. He told us that the Porchetta was homemade and that he’d cook anything on the menu to our specifications. He’d create a dish, sandwich, combine different ingredients, cook eggs any way we'd like them, etc. Our party of four selected: •Omelet with Breakfast Potatoes $10 •Chicken Cutlet Sandwich $16 •Porchetta & Eggs with Breakfast Potatoes $15 •French Toast with Strawberries and Whipped Cream $12 The food was excellent and our brunch was only $78 with tip. Great food and a very good value. We will return.

   Our time here was exceptional! It was our first visit and we met the owner chef Armando as soon as we walked in! He greeted us warmly and said e decided to sit at the bar. We had excellent service from his daughter and Dan. Both were great to be around. The food was exceptional! We will be back. I’m with other reviewers when I say this place is a gem - thanks for a lovely evening!

    Stepping inside of Dolce e Salato is like being in someone’s living room. It’s homey and the staff (including and especially the owners) greet you like family. The high quality food, most imported from Italy, is unlike anything I have had before. They have a small restaurant to cater closely to their visitors. I can’t wait to come back as they always have new specials
