   Exceptional service and surroundings. Very polite attentive staff set in a beautiful location. Afternoon tea was perfect with a great selection and fabulous quality food.

   We were given a gift voucher for our afternoon tea. The food was delicious. We both left the table feeling full and with a box for the cakes we couldn’t manage, to take home. We had the choice of where to sit. We decided to sit outside, which, with the lovely sunny weather we are having was perfect. The table and chairs were comfortable and had a parasol to keep the sun off us if we wanted. There was a cushion and a throw for if the weather cooled. A nice touch I thought. Our waitress was very friendly but respectful. Once given our afternoon tea, she didn’t bother us again, except to ask if all was well. We would highly recommend Doddington Hall afternoon tea. We will go again. Thank you.

   We booked this venue for a birthday and anniversary treat, whilst the location and ambience was great, unfortunately the food was poor, the food had not been prepared fresh it came across as they had done the food hours before hand as the sandwiches were drying out, the idea of afternoon tea is to indulge in a little treat, alas we have been to other venues for afternoon tea doddington hall was poor food wise and great ambience wise. Overall all if the food had not been dry then I would say brilliant, especially as the location and ambience ticks all the right boxes, unfortunately we willnot return due to the food and poor value for money it's a shame as location and ambience is great, there are far better venues food wise around, like stokes in town for instance. We have done a fair few afternoon teas and food wise poor ambience and location great.

   Delicious afternoon tea but a bit pricey at £30 a head for what you got. 3 small finger sandwiches, 4 small cakes and a scone

   Best afternoon tea we have ever had, treated with kindness and respect. Staff were attentative but not intrusive. Food was excellent and plentiful. Well worth a visit.

    We were celebrating our 42nd wedding anniversary, food was amazing, we had one of each of the traditional and savoury afternoon tea, and shared...... Plenty to eat, great variety, great quality, staff were friendly, and helpful, surroundings were great. Definately will go again, lots of other things to do on site.
