   DOC is always amazing - their pizzas are absolutely the best around, authentic Italian pizzas with quality ingredients. Fabulous coffee, great service and cool atmosphere. Thanks for never disappointing!

   The food is always amazing here, my fav pizza in Melbourne. The service, apart from the 1 female with long blonde hair, running around doing everything the rest, maybe aswell not existed! One just stood there, arms crossed, staring, not attentive, didn’t care at all. No one asks us how our meal was, not once would you like anything else, dessert, another drink, we had to get up to order a salad, ask for a condiment. The ambiance was weird, no music at one point there was silence and just seemed odd. The aircon was cold in the main restaurant, I get it, the staff are hot infront of the oven but was slightly warmer outside than sitting in. One lady next to us complained and moved, when we were leaving we overheard the same helpful lady asking someone would like to sit near the aircon or not or outside. We were not given that option.

   True Italian ristorante experience in entertainment, service, plates and loud enjoyment. Delightful outlook, happy customers and the presentation in celebration of birthdays is unique in the Mornington Peninsula . Good management. Better for parties over 4

   I've been going to DOC with my dad since it opened, regularly. He lives locally and goes to the deli there most weeks. The food is always incredible, so I decided to celebrate my 30th birthday there. We were sat at a table and no one came to check on us to order, he had to get up and ask for service. You'd think given that I'd noted the occasion the staff would be extra attentive. Not one of the staff asked whos birthday it was etc. All of us were disappointed with the experience, the music was so loud we couldn't hear each other. We would have liked desert, but given the lack of attention and disappointment we left early and went elsewhere. It's great Pizza but if you're wanting a good experience for a special occasion go elsewhere.

   These guys have nailed it . Always consistent and quality food. Staff are friendly and apologetic if there are any delays on food. I have visited this place about 10 times and enjoyed them all.

    Our experience at DOC was really disappointing. Immediately, the service was terrible. We arrived at 4.45pm with two young children and had to wait 25 minutes before they even took a drink order. My partner tried to order drinks at the bar but was told (rudely) to return to the table and wait. The kitchen didn’t open until 5pm, but we were told we could order deli snacks while we waiting but these didn’t arrive until 5.30pm and the ‘focaccia’ we ordered was simple plain baked pizza base with a small drizzle of olive oil. We had to constantly flag down waiters to receive any service, and were met every time with rude responses, as if it was a gross inconvenience to them that we were even there. When our two pizzas did finally arrive they were lukewarm and bland. Even trying to pay we were sent on a wild goose chase being passed around members of staff. It was an absolute farce, and I strongly recommend anyone wanting a decent meal and service go anywhere but here, especially with young children. No consideration was given to the timing, the restaurant was heaving and we were treated like an inconvenience.
