First time visiting The meat was delicious / cudnt fault it The service was attentive and over above and beyond unfortunately the vegetables and the potatoes were stone cold

We were very enthusiastically greeted apon arrival and seated in one of the booths. Both servers were attentive and friendly. Drinks and food were delivered very quickly. The menu is quite small, but we liked that as overly complicated menus can make it difficult to choose. My wife had the ribs and I had half a smoked chicken. What can I say? Everything cooked perfectly and was hot. My chicken was on steroids! I've never seen a chicken so big. The portion sizes a on the large side, but we were given containers. We had the leftovers for dinner next day! We had a large glass of wine, a beer and 2 main courses and it came to less than £50. Amazing value for money. Highly recommend a trip here

Incredible food, absolutely delicious would definitely go back for the brisket and the Sunday dinner looks out of this world

Went to the relaunch night and had spectacular food and fantastic service. Food was flavoursome, tender and portion size very generous. The best wings I have ever had and the Brisket was to die for. New chef, kitchen team and front of house make this a must go to place.

When we walked in we were not greeted… we had to approach the staff to say who we were. There were only about 4 tables occupied; there was no ambience. They indicated a table, rather than took us to a table. It was freezing in there so we went to close the door and asked to move into a booth as the metal seats were so cold. We then had to ask for a menu… which was given to us but were then expected to order immediately, having not even been able to look at the menu. In the meantime, another table had their food delivered but it was sent back as it was not what they ordered - we asked them how long they had been waiting for their food to which they responded 1.5 hours. On entering we had also seen someone we knew who had said they had been waiting an hour and a half for their food. We decided to cancel our drinks order and go somewhere else for dinner. On leaving the restaurant another table called out to us that it was a good move. Luckily Stubbs was able to fit us in; there was a wonderful buzzy vibe and the food and service were second to none. So glad we got up and walked out of DJB.

Food was nice, although some of the food on the table was a little cold. Service not so good, it took 30 mins to get a menu and we had to ask, we then waited a further 20 mins and had to ask to order. Food took over an hour to get to us in total. We asked for the bill and that took over 20 mins, we had to physically go up to the bar and ask to pay as they just weren’t coming over to the tables. Extremely poor considering there was only 6 tables. Overall food was quite nice but not worth the poor service

Awful experience. We were seated with the drinks menu. The waiter had to come back twice to confirm our drinks order - it was not a complicated order. He even asked me what was in my cocktail even though it was on their menu. Then they only brought 4 of 6 drinks out. We had to ask for the other two drinks and then they only brought one out and left the other behind the bar. Having asked a few team members if we could have the final drink, they eventually brought two out! We repeatedly asked for the food menu but they were never brought it out. Having taken 45 minutes and a lot of effort to get our drinks (and with no sign of the food menu) we gave up and paid for our drinks and left. It was not even busy with over half of the tables empty. There is only one toilet in the restaurant so you either have to wait for it to be empty and race to get to it or go upstairs to the ‘club’. We won’t be returning.

No ribs or brisket which was one of the only reasons I wanted to go. Mac and cheese texture wasn't appealing at all. Staff were nice and polite
