   Lovely premises, friendly staff but let down by the food. We both ordered a beef Sunday lunch with a side of cauliflower cheese. (Three menu choices were off) The beef was quite chewy, the veg weren’t particularly warm and the roast potatoes were rock hard. The cauliflower cheese was small and watery. This is third time we’ve had Sunday lunch there. First time was excellent, second time was very average but though maybe a bad day. Third (and last) time was poor and clearly had been sat about all day.

   Best Sunday lunch apart from my own 😋. I ate in the bar, I was a lone female diner which isn't always an easy experience. I was made to feel very welcome by the bar staff, helped to chose a dining option. I chose to eat in the bar rather than take my booked table in the restaurant which was more formal than I wanted. The full Sunday lunch menu was available in the bar. I chose the roast belly pork with all the trimmings. The food was amazing, well cooked, lots of veggies, super Yorkshire and scrummy gravy. The staff were friendly and helpful. 10/10 for venue, staff and food. I felt like I'd had a real treat. Thank you Devonshire Arms

   Lovely restaurant setting and staff were very attentive and friendly. Food was excellent and they even provided a water bowl for our pooch.

   Lovely country pub and restaurant and very friendly staff at both the bar area and restaurant. Great food with a good menu for gluten free and plenty of normal selections. This was our second visit and will definitely go again.

    Wen for lunch ordered fish & chips and ham, egg and chips Fish was a small fillet and overcooked in a brown ‘mucky fat’ batter. Complained and to be fair had our money back for this Ham, egg and chips was ok, nothing special Was expecting much better quality from this village pub
