   Food wasn’t up to standard and it wasn’t value for money. Portion size was small. I’ve been to this restaurant several times when it was at Gabba and it was great. I was hoping for the same quality and standard but it wasn’t. My friend and I were disappointed. I always support businesses and people I know. Sadly I won’t be going back! Sorry 😞

   This is just simply amazing food - every dish was a wonder - great service and great value - overall one of the best restaurant night outs my wife and I have had in a long time.

   Tried the pop up Detour next to Happy Boy and Snack Man. One word - fantastic. We had the Omnivore menu and all dishes were great. The vegetables were sensational in particular - the pumpkin was to die for. But hard also to go past the brisket, emu tartare and KFD. All dishes were great, the staff laid back, friendly and knowledgable. It was busy but not packed - can’t understand why there weren’t more people in there. Five courses for $88 - a steal!

   Set menu is such great value and offers the opportunity to taste a number of dishes. The food is in a class of its own, Emu Tartare, KFD, Gun Powder Waygu, just to name a few. The setting is very intimate with beautiful timber walls and subtle lighting. Service was outstanding.

   If your looking for a relaxed dining experience and try food you will not see elsewhere, take the Detour! Everything is cooked with care and passion by a calm and well run kitchen.

   Bringing back the classics. Limited drinks list but dining here is more about the food anyway. Loved it.

   We dined on a menu type of each and both left stuffed! An incredible amount of food for the price you pay, the wagyu was incredibly well cooked, however pumpkin and carrot stole the show and is a must try. Incredibly pleased with the wine knowledge and service from the staff as well. A must dine in Brisbane.
