    My husband ordered a burger and I ordered the steakhouse salad (salad with sliced filet minion). We placed the order at 5:10 pm. At 5:50 our food still hadn’t arrived. Our waiter came over and said the kitchen dropped my steak as they were plating it and said they were making me a new one. When it finally arrived at 6:15 the steak was over cooked and my husband’s burger was lukewarm (probably sat under a heat lamp while they made me a new steak). The salad, after all the wait, was bland at best. I’ve had better steak salad at the local bar. Our waiter offered me a free dessert but since we had barely enough time to eat and still get to our show I suggested taking my meal off the bill was a better remedy. He agreed and did that. He was not the problem. The kitchen was a hot mess. Before our meal came we were treated to the sound of plates breaking as they hit the ground. All in all, nothing about the experience makes me want to go back.

    Food and experience was not worth it at the price point. We wanted a more upscale steakhouse and this was just not it. They're definitely understaffed. We weren't offered water until 15 minutes after being seated and the server looked stressed and rushed. We had to ask several times for parts of our meal that were forgotten. We also asked several times for a steak knife. My meal (short rib) had obviously been sitting out for a while. We watched a couple wait at the host stand for over 10 minutes and no one ever showed up so they left. It feels like a place that wants to be a nice steakhouse, but offers a mid-level chain experience.

    Of course it was Mother’s Day so the service was very slow being that they were very packed. My party got out food after 2 hours of waiting unfortunately, we ended up just taking it to go. Our waiter James was nice and the food was good but unfortunately the service wasn’t great on this busy day.

    I have left 2 reviews about restaurants in my life. One being exceptional service about 10 years ago and now this experience at Del Friscos Here is my experience for an Anniversary Dinner. I had reservations at 7:30, somehow everyone in eastern Massachusetts did as well. I stood in the waiting line for over 45 minutes for my reservation. When I was finally seated, I placed a drink order for water, Coca Cola and one single cocktail. We did not receive any of the drinks for over a half hour even though we had reminded the wait staff. I eventually just walked up to the bar to get myself waters. We then placed a food order, which took about an hour and thirty minutes to complete. The kitchen staff most likely had to receive and butcher the cattle while we were waiting. (They were just overloaded because too many reservations were accepted) The wait staff did not have any forks or knives ready for the food. I had asked the waiter and busser for utensils, which never came. So again, I walked across the restaurant to ask the bartender for utensils so my date and I didn’t have to eat with our hands. My steak frites was actually pretty good and the caprese salad with filet came out well. Overall, I waited multiple hours for food and felt as if my reservation and time was not respected for a very expensive meal. If this was any other place aside of a high end restaurant I probably would have just let this slide. However I drove an hour to get here on a special occasion. I thought this place was going to knock it out of the park, it didn’t.

    Running out of clean utensils and cups is Just unacceptable at all. Doesn’t matter how busy your establishment is. Not to mention how overwhelmed and unorganized checking in for reservations was. I applaud the hostess’ for being patient but it’s unacceptable for the confusion they experienced as well as guest. Not to mention errors in food orders.

    Waiting time was awful I had a reservation and still wait over 45 minutes to seat. Since it was mother s day and i give them a pass but they should have plan for it. The greeters were not friendly at all. My waitress however was great
