    The food we did receive was excellent - ahi tacos, my steak and shrip cocktail were done to perfection. But the kitchen litterally missed 4 things I ordered - I go to delfriscos because I can usually bank on top notch across the board - they were a very very long way from top notch tonight - not sure I would hurry up and return.

    Excessive wait & flat drinks. Disappointing experience for a restaurant carrying the Del Frico’s name. Ordered my steak medium well. It came out rare. Ironic for a place whose speciality is supposed to be steak. I actually had to seek out the manager after the waitress told me twice that the manager & chef were coming over to speak to me. Manager & waitress did very little to rectify our experience. Indicative of their lack of experience and/or willingness to own up to the poor service experience.

    Better than some but not the best for the price. Waiter was slow to bring drinks, apps, and did not check in on us after food delivered to ensure all was good. Also I indicated this was a birthday dinner and there was zero mention of it at all throughout service.

    Rumors of painfully slow service are true. It took over two hours to get through dinner start to finish. Much of that spent waiting for food, then — most annoyingly — waiting for the server to bring and run the check so we could get out of there. It was unpleasantly loud, but that’s to be expected at Del Friscos. The icing on the cake, if you will, was a curious decision by our server on our way out the door. I’ve long been a fan of the lemon icebox cake. It’s one of the main reasons we ever dine here. With our patience worn threadbare and a deep desire just to get out of the restaurant, I ordered two slices to go. Imagine my surprise upon arriving home to find the two slices divided into four takeout containers — halved lengthwise? The server had cut the top off each slice and put it in a separate container in a vain attempt to get the cake to fit inside the vessel. It still tastes good, but sheesh, what an example of the rather poor service that has settled into this establishment. For the price, the value is sorely lacking. It will be some time before we return, unfortunately.

    The food was very slow coming out of the kitchen. Also had to wait for wine. From the time we sat down it took 35 minutes to get the 1 appetizer. Food was just as slow. Cancelled the second wine. Took way too long.

    We had a 7:15 reservation and didn’t get seated til 7:35. Once we were seated the waitress was very nice but our drinks and food came out extremely slowly. We didn’t get our main dish until after 9pm. The manager did comp the bill a little but still very disappointing.
