   First the service was really good. But the food was exceptional. It wasn’t as noisy as I thought it would be so we had such a great experience. We were there for my daughter birthday and that was her first time visiting Del Frisco’s. She loved her steak.

   The food was wonderful. The scenery was good. The service was slow. We sat a while without the server coming back to check on us. It changed our mind on getting desserts. Every request took longer than expected and made an enjoyable evening a little frustrating.

   We hadn’t been to DF in a long time so decided to try it since it offered a lot of variety for the people in our party with food allergies. The meal was ok but not overwhelmingly great as I expected or remembered in the past. I was very pleased when our server at first asked us about our allergies that were noted in our reservation and seemed to write them down again. However the first appetizer that came out was sprinkled with sesame seeds - the first allergen we discussed! Besides this and one side we ordered not coming out as the server said she didn’t hear us order it the service was ok. DF is not as accommodating for food allergies as I thought they would be so we likely will not return.
