   We love Dean’s. Tonight they were a little off w the temperature of the steak. The NY strips were spot on but the filet mignon that was ordered medium came out rare. We kept that one for the table, didn’t want to cause any problems, and ordered another one medium. After everyone else was finished with their meal, it came back, again, rare. Sent it back and it came back (same steak) rare. We gave up. Not sure what the issue was. Not sure we’ll be back.

   Great service, very good food! Only complaint was lobster pasta was a bit too salty to really enjoy. Rest of meal was very good

   I was really excited to try this place but it was a let down. Oscar style was a bit much for my taste and the lobster tail was over cooked. They offered is free dessert, which was a little under cooked in the middle. This place is not for those who want bold flavors, everything was a bit bland to my taste.

   Surprisingly good food for a hotel restaurant steal were the most tender I have ever had. Sides good and desserts great too.

   We were a party of 3. The bread came out x 2 and was overcooked and very hard. We all ordered Dean’s Italian Style Filet Steaks and apparently they were sitting for awhile before they reached our table as they were Lukewarm. The spinach was cold. Cocktails were definitely a different taste than what we have ordered previously. I understand it’s the holidays and you all are busy, but Lukewarm or cold entrees and sides is definitely unacceptable.

   Food and service were great! Tables very close together making it super loud and hard to have a conversation.

   What a pleasant surprise to find a restaurant of this caliber located in a downtown (uptown, for Charlotte) hotel. Our waiter, Alex, was very polite and quite helpful throughout the meal. Our cocktails were excellent as were the two wines we enjoyed. And the steaks? One petit filet and one barrel cut fillet - wonderfully cooked to order and quite flavorful. The oven roasted marsala mushrooms we shared were outstanding and the perfect complement to our steaks! All-in-all, a wonderful evening. A special thanks to Alex for all his assistance and guidance!

    Best steakhouse in Charlotte. Jason was our server and the service he provided was top notch. We went with his suggestions and were extremely pleased. Cocktails were superb.
