   We booked months in advance for Christmas dinner. After we were seated we noticed that they were serving a limited menu with no price listed. This was not advertised on the website nor explained when making the reservation. We did not ask but we're shocked when the check showed it was $95.50 per person! For that price we should have had the regular/better menu. My husband and I both got the shrimp cocktail which consisted of 2 chopped up shrimp mixed in with cocktail sauce and potato chips (huh?). We chose filet and sea bass for entrees and they came with the same sides, asparagus and mashed potatoes which appeared to be cost effective like the appetizer. The bread pudding tasted like stale bread with canned frosting and the pecan pie was not very sweet. To top it off, they added gratuity. We were a party of two! There was no justifying the price of the dinner. The quality was below standard for fine dining. We have visited David's every year for the past 3 years for various special occasions. This entire experience was a money grab and we felt taken advantage of. We will never visit David's again. I hope it was all worth it.

   We had this booked weeks in advance for Christmas Eve dinner. After we were seated we were informed that they were serving a very limited fixed menu. Against our better judgment we decided to stay. No price on the menu. We had to ask. $95.50 per person. For that price we were expecting a great meal. My husband got a shrimp cocktail. It consisted of what couldn’t have been more than 2 chopped up shrimp mixed in with cocktail sauce. That was extremely disappointing. He got a filet which was overcooked. He should have sent it back but did not. I had the special of prawns on a chorizo risotto. Prawns came out with heads on which really did not thrill me. Prawns were mushy. I sent it back and got a filet. Mine was better than my husbands. However, portions were extremely small. There was no justifying the price of the dinner. The quality was sub-par for a fine dining establishment.

   Terrible. We were very disappointed to find out upon arrival that could only choose from a limited set menu. We were shocked that a restaurant of David’s level would resort to mass set menus. We would never have booked a table on a special occasion such as Christmas Eve if it was a preset limited menu. I knew it was going to be bad when our waitress asked us we what 1 of 3 deserts we would like whilst ordering our main course. Ie it was rushed and like an assembly line. In and out in under an hour!!!!Terrible for a $100 meal. We will never be back at a major holiday. We actually had a great experience a few months ago and told our friends about how it had improved with the new ownership.

   Marley our server was excellent. She was very professional and attentive. My husbands meal was just warm not hot. The bouillabaisse had good flavor but could have had more fish/mussels. Overall good but not as good as previous visits. Please acknowledge Marley as she did a great job.

    We love going to David’s. Tricia was our waitress and was attentive and courteous. We had the sole and sea bass and as usually, absolutely delicious. Recommend!
