We travel an hour to David’s. Very nice restaurant. Nice wine selection and delicious food. Parking is a problem as it is for all the restaurants in the area.

The steak was outstanding as was the octopus. The salad was so drenched with dressing it was difficult to eat. The accompanying starch to the steak was like a brick and tasteless. So overall, for 170$ for 2 appetizers, 1 entree, 1 Mock-tail, 1 wine and a dessert, it was just ok.

We were seated for 25 minutes and still had no drinks. After the 25 minutes Our server kept trying to take our order and I had to explain we’d prefer to enjoy a bit of our wine before ordering. A refresh of water was harder to obtain. Mushrooms arrived so far in advance of dinner that we had to eat them as an appetizer. They volunteered to remove them from our bill. The Lobster (at market price) was left uneaten by both of us. Server never mentioned that they were left unfinished.Steaks were excellent. But there are other great steaks on the island….. We’ve had very uneven experiences here but this tipped the scale to “we won’t be back”.

My wife and I are return patrons of David’s and we’ve loved it every time! This time around the only change on our experience was dining in the same room as their bar, and it was a bit loud (bar patrons the evening we went were rather boisterous). That didn’t detract from the quality of the meal, but it did impact the overall experience. We’ll be coming back!!

We have never had a bad dining experience at David’s. Our server, Isabella, was wonderful. Steaks were divine, as was the wine. Looking forward to our next visit.

The food and service were extraordinary. The ambience lovely. It is expensive, so more of a "special occasion" type of place. We celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary and enjoyed the octopus appetizer (Fabulous), with entrees of Sea Bass and Wagyu Beef - both excellent, along with mushroom risotto ( tasty, quite light ), and banana cheesecake (unique and delicious)! It's a cozy environment with no view; service (Zack) was excellent and knowledgeable. Worth the visit to celebrate!
