   The main problem is that they take reservations but do not honor them. We had a reservation for 10, when we got there they put us on the same list as walk ins. We were sat 30 minutes after checking in and that is only because we spoke the manager. The host told us they take reservations but can’t guarantee a table.

   My reservation was for 315. I arrived at the restaurant at 2:40. I went to the host just to let them know that we are here and just awaiting for our guest to be seated. The young lady at the counter told me when all of the guests arrive to let her know and she will see everyone 3:27 PM. All of my guests have arrived. I go to the host to let her know we are all here and then she states I’m sorry we don’t hold tables. I then said, but I told you I was here. You told me to wait and come to you when everyone has arrived. It hasn’t even been an additional 15 minutes. She told me again with an attitude that they do not hold tables so we would have to wait for the walk-ins to be seated first. After waiting an hour and 20 minutes to be seated I then asked if it were possible to have a table for the 7 adults that chose to stay? There were several open booths as well as tables yet. I was told they could not be seated because the tables were reserved. I was not happy but chose to allow all of the children to be seated. The waiter came over and said “this booth and this table are mine and they are not reserved so please have your family and friends have a seat” this was appalling to me being as though I was told originally that the tables and booths were reserved. The host then continuously came over to our tables to say “see everything worked out right“ I spoke with the manager, expressed my taste, continued on with my dinner, but I won’t be revisiting Dave & Buster’s Highlander

   Our Waitress Jen was awesome, she kept our party of young adults hydrated and all really enjoyed their food. We were quite pleased with the quality of the food and appetizers.

   Great value with dine combo package! However I was very disappointed that they had no food options for children with food allergies. It is a place where children go and nowadays many children have food allergies/restrictions. Even the French fries were not just potatoes, they contained milk. I was only able to safely order my child a burger with no bun and nothing on the side. No fruit or applesauce available either.

   Terrible experience. Restaurant was under construction. There was dust everywhere. Our table was crammed in so tight next to another table we couldn’t sit And had to stand around awkwardly for the staff to figure something out. The food was overcooked and dry.

   Our server Tom was amazing! The whole crew, including Alba and the awesome managers Dan and John, were absolutely incredible! Definitely had a birthday night out to remember! Can’t say enough wonderful things about the service & food. The respect shown to & by the staff, even for each other, was all around outstanding and appreciated as they are truly your most important assets. Always very clean and the food is delicious (the wings & truffle fries are a must!). Love the Islandia D&B!
