The luxurious experience features exciting live music as well as fresh Italian food prepared with the love and wealth of knowledge that Chef Pasquale has gained from studying the art of Italian cuisine in Calabria, Italy. Chef Pasquale only uses the best ingredients to create this masterful cuisine. Our melt-in-your-mouth mozzarella comes from Naples, our tomatoes are picked from the finest vines of Italy and our bread and pasta are mad in-house.

Excellent meal. Great service. Waited 25 minutes past our reservation to be seated. Waited at the bar which was severely under staffed. We visited post matinee. Would have been very concerned if I had tix for an evening show. Again food was excellent!

Both members of my party had the ravioli stuffed with porcini & wild mushrooms. Ummmm! We finished with coffee & latte - quite good- as well as the espresso panna cotta. I think we’ll be back.

The manager spent our entire dinner behind us, talking to a large table and complaining about all the people that would come into the restaurant. So basically our whole entire dinner as loud as he talked that’s all we heard.

Waited exactly one hour to be seated after my reservation time before leaving. They clearly are over booking and based on previous reviews this is not a new problem. Definitely do not recommend this restaurant if you are on e a schedule.

A complete disaster! DaMarino is not a newly opened restaurant which is why my comments to follow cannot be discounted. We had a confirmed reservation for dinner before a show, as did all the other people jammed into the bar. We all were told the same thing, that it would be at least 30 minutes behind schedule that they couldn't do anything about it. As long time restauranteurs they certainly should know how to manage their table turnover. I feel sorry for all the people eating at the bar amidst all the chaos, of us all waiting behind them, and for all the out of towners,, DaMarino is not the way New York restaurants operate. This was grossly unfair to everyone to overbook the way they did. I could not give 0 stars, but we left and had a great dinner nearby.

Have been here before so happy we could get reservations again. During a previous visit we sampled the chocolate fettuccine. This time we both ordered it and it was delicious. Generous portions with a lot of shrimp. I wonder if they would try it with a chicken option as well? The sauce was wonderful. Since we were going to a show afterwards we didn’t order a lot. We did have the calamari as well which was also very good. This place is always busy. Be prepared to wait a little even with reservations. However, they’re very aware of any plans you have and work with your timing. Looking forward to a return visit.

Pasta dishes were fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. Portions were good sized. The atmosphere was eclectic - especially the women’s bathroom! Live Piano music nightly - would definitely return, especially if we’re there for a show. The restaurant is steps away from O’Neil Theater.
