   Our first time dining at the new location. We had an amazing experience. All of the food was wonderful, perfectly seasoned and just the right amount of salt. My appetizer comprised some of the best mussels I’ve ever eaten. And my scallops entree as well as my wife’s grouper special were superlative. Our server, Matthew, was knowledgeable, outgoing, and attentive. Will ask for him on our return. And the ambiance, wow! Perfect contemporary steel and glass vibe with some classic wood accents thrown in. Cannot recommend Dakota enough. Go. Eat. Enjoy.

   The Friday before Mardi Gras, most tables were full with happy, smiling diners. The service was personable and impeccable. The pan-seared ribeye with onion demi-glace was as a high-quality steak should taste—meaty and savory yet not overwhelmed by the demi-glace. The charbroiled oysters were perfect! We had two dozen. One with blue cheese and bacon, and the other with Parmesan and truffle oil, served with lemon wedges on rock salt and whole peppercorns. The honey-vanilla crème brûlée was well…I have no words but heavenly. It was served with warm chocolate chip cookies! We had a 2017 Gevry-Chambertin that was paired perfectly with our meal! A Memorable evening!

   Our server Bret was fantastic and very knowledgable! The food was delicious and the drinks were well made. The feeling of the “new” location is much better than the old one. It was a nice evening and a good place to celebrate our anniversary. Would recommend! Ps. Big fan of the black/white napkin depending on your attire.

   Food off the chart delicious, outstanding presentation. Service very good, not pretentious or overbearing. Wine selection is vast and well selected. Atmosphere and lighting well thought out. We look forward to returning soon.

   I’ve eaten at the old location several times and the food was great. This was my first visit to the new location. Beautiful location with a great ambiance. We ate lunch and overall had a great experience. That said my wife had the Puppy Drum Almondine and was thoroughly pleased. I had the Crab and Brie soup which was outstanding. However I chose the special burger for the day and was less than satisfied. It was a combination of two patties of meat which one was veal. I found it difficult to pick up and eat because the bun was falling apart. The flavor, while interesting, was not to my liking. I would not order again. Let me be clear, I like this restaurant and will return again. I just would not order this burger.

    Tyler and Rebecca were both great and the dishes were prepared well. However, both the chicken breast and the tenderloin needed more seasoning. If they'd been seasoned properly it'd be 5 stars.
