   This is my favorite Korean bbq place to go to in Chicago. The quality of meat is superb and delicious. The service is so nice, friendly, and courteous. It’s nice that they help us cook the meat since we have to also tend to our crazy toddler. I love that they have small plates and utensils for kids. The only thing I hope they improve is the amount of condiments. They are a little stingy on these. They should refill these right away. Most Korean bbq places do this automatically and without having to ask. Overall, the place is fantastic and their ventilation system is phenomenal. Will go back again.

   Hello! My name is Kaeton and I dined at your Wicker Park location with friends today. It was phenomenal, and I wrote a review on Google. It's under the pen name Kate O. "The frenzy that is eating Korean BBQ is magnificent. Everyone's grabbing meats, drinks, veggies, spices, sides, and other ingredients. You're throwing them on a wicked hot grill in the middle. The quickness of your bold decisions surpasses any decision making you've ever had to do. Meanwhile, you're gasping for air because you're laughing so hard. You're gnawing on a piece of uncut meat while a friend messily vents. The table is filled with a million and one bowls of raw and cooked food. And a time was had. I was a bit more distracted than normal because of my friends. However, we knew we loved it all! We weren't mad at the price and appreciated Maria's wonderful service.    Absolutely wonderful place! Have enjoyed Daebak since the original location opened and this new location in wicker park has the same amazing quality plus an expanded menu! The Tomahawk Galbi was divine and so tender! Highly recommend

   We went here on a Sunday for lunch, the place is super nice, clean and has a cool vibe. What we did not like is that it was not very good explained to us what to expect, they manage packages, also we were not told upfront that the Korean side dishes (as lettuce and kimchi), the additional were charged, normally you can ask for more in other places, and it was kind of expensive for lettuce. Meat was enough and good quality, but in general, we got the impression that the flavor was a little bit flat, we asked for rice cakes and the sauce is not as tasty as expected. In general, we liked it, they have more side dishes than other places, but we did not like all of them, so we much rather eat more of what we like. Nice and cute place.
