Da Mario Ristorante was established in 2012 and it is a place for the real lovers of the Italian kitchen. It is located in the heart of Budapest, in the neighborhood of the excessively beautiful Liberty Square. We are combining the traditional Italian recipes with the expertise of our head chefs. On the menu you can find those typical dishes as the popular handmade pastas and the original, Italian pizzas which we make in our wood heated oven. If you can not decide whether to choose an Italian trattoria or a steakhouse as a place for your lunch or dinner, do not look for it anymore. In Da Mario Ristorante we only use source protected products, what we are importing straight from Italy every week in the spirit of freshness. During the summertime, 100 person can also be seated at our enormous terrace.

Its a lovely restaurant, the food was good, not super good, but the value for money ruins the experience. Its very expensive when you add the 15% service charge, and I would not see me dining there again.

Locale ampio e accogliente, si trova vicino il parlamento. La pizza napoletana buona, anche il gulasch è stato apprezzato da tutti i commensali. La pecca che e’ stata che nessuno parlava italiano.

Da Mario Budapest has closed Diners were directed to the restaurant next door called Bisztró Budapest; a more casual establishment. The location was difficult to walk to if not familiar with Liberty Square area The food was just okay for the amount it cost. A previous meal at the four seasons hotel cost less than this restaurant Skip this place

Good restoarant we went there with my dad and we liked it, good pizza and nice pasta. Didn’t understand why there was filming movie and it was embarrassing but it’s ok

Our restaurant was open but there was no terrace. We had to go to the neighbours because this restaurant belongs to the same owner. The food was very good (8 prawns, mussels, spaghetti with seafood and a pizza). The service was poor and they were not interested in us. On the bill was extra calculated 15% service and 900 Forint for a unit(???). Nevertheless they did not understand why we refused to give an extra tip. This holiday we went to Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest and in a lot of touristic areas they calculated 15% service.
