   As we prepared to checkout the server suggested we could swiftly checkout by scanning the QR code on the table. It wasn’t until my husband paid the bill that he mentioned there was an associated $5 service charge to this quick and easy step. In the future, it would be helpful to be given a heads up as the traditional way of closing out a tab doesn’t come with the unnecessary added cost.

   Everything was delicious. Three of us celebrated a friend’s birthday and we shared several dishes. We started with the spinach dip which was amazing. Then we shared the Asian Chicken Salad, the Brussels Sprout Salad and a pizza with delicious chicken and honey on it. Our waiter was great and told us about the specials. So happy we live close enough to enjoy dining there again soon.

   Made a request to Not To BE SEATED IN THE BOOTHS IN THE BAR AREA. The request was not acknowledge until I brought it up. No alternative seating was offered. People were standing around the booth and one individual kept SNEEZING/COUGHING on us. I hope the next time this request is made, DL Mack’s pays attention.

   They appeared to be understaffed on Wednesday night. We noticed our cocktails sat on the bar for at least 15 minutes before they were delivered to our table, so there was not the ice on top that usually accompanied the cocktails.

    We requested a booth outside of the bar area after we arrived and was told the booth we were seated at was reserved for later in the evening (as if we’re going to be there all evening long!) … we didn’t need to be told that … also, the dress code from Open Table was business casual, yet people entered the restaurant wearing t-shirts and blue jean shorts, which to me was not business casual.. Other than that, the server was nice and professional, the food and cocktails tasted very good.
