If you want a REAL FRENCH restaurant without flying to France, drive to Carleton OR and go to Cuvée. My wife is from France and I am now also have my French citizenship. Our friend asked us if this was typical of a good French restaurant. Definitely! Except the tables are much less cramped. Everything is made in house and the chef is the owner and he also waits on tables with the help of another man. We have been 3 or 4 times and when we visit the area, it is always a MUST DO. If you want a true example of excellent French cooking—YES, every bit as good as my mother-in-law’s—go to Cuvée!!!!!

Food was exceptional, owner engaging. We will definitely be back next time we're in the Willamette Valley. We had lamb shank with white beans and beef bourginon.

Gilbert What an awesome experience! My husband and I enjoyed a delicious dinner at Cuvée last night. Each dish was prepared with care for every detail and was both tasty and visually appealing. The baked oysters appetizer was fabulous and the lingcod special was absolutely amazing! The lamb chops that my husband had were moist and tender. Our vegetables were varied and cooked perfectly. The wine list was relatively small but varied and we loved our bottle of French Burgundy. Last but not least, Gilbert who is the owner, chef and our server was professional, comical and delightful. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Food was delicious, savory, warm and satisfying. Some old world French recipes and some newer stuff also. From the exquisitely made cocktails, the crisp and fresh salad, the butternut squash soup so well seasoned, the beef bourguignon, the pork, and a very chocolatey dessert cake, we enjoyed every bite. Service was great also. Personable and professional staff. Courses were well timed. We dine out a lot and are quite picky, this place gets 5 stars from us!

My family and I had a wonderful meal at Cuvee during our visit to the Willamette Valley. The food was exceptional—the menu lets you choose an appetizer or dessert, plus a soup or salad and entree. We shared our appetizers and all ordered different entrees, then added on a few desserts for the table. The frites, octopus, and escargot were amazing appetizers, and the pork tenderloin, beef Bourguignon, and rib eye steak were fabulous entrees. A seasonal apple cheesecake for dessert was superb. The atmosphere was homey and service was very welcoming!
