Our server was nice enough, and the fried catfish was very good. But I should have known when reservations were too easy and the place was extremely empty that it wasn’t going to be great. The service was extremely slow for it to be like 11 people there. The “barbecue shrimp” was more like a tiny skillet of shrimp swimming in a pool of overly tangy vinaigrette. The shrimp was overcooked to rubber bands! My drink wasn’t that good. And they added automatic gratuity to my party of 4 (which is clearly listed on the menu; I just don’t like that). I was embarrassed because my party came from out of town and Memphis is known for its food…so skip this one.

I celebrated my birthday here, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. While the ambience was nice, the service was incredibly poor and slow. Given that automatic gratuity was added, I expected much better service. When our food finally arrived after 30 minutes both my mom and I found the chicken to be dry. My mom had ordered wings but asked if they could be remade, only to be told they were out of wings for the night. She then opted for a burger instead, but after waiting another 30 minutes, we had to flag down the waiter to ask for an update. The waiter responded with, "What burger?"—which was frustrating to say the least. My mom never received her food or an apology for the inconvenience. Building was extremely cold. I will NEVER be revisiting or recommending this place to anyone.

Overall not great experience. Drinks were fine, but restaurant was dead and we were one of maybe 3 other parties at the time. When I said I had a reservation, I was laughed at. Then, after ordering, they came back and said they were out of the mussels I ordered, as well as any pasta in general, basically half the menu. Also, this place is in the hotel lobby of the Hilton and there was an issue with a battery backup unit with the sprinkler system so there was a loud beeping every 2-3 seconds and did not stop for the duration of our meal. I asked about this if they could get it to stop and the response I got was that they are it was annoying. Struggled to find a good place to eat in Memphis and here was no different.

It took forever for the host to greet us and she was very rude and unpleasant when she finally came out of the kitchen area. Absolutely no service manners whatsoever. There was only one other table being served when we got there. It took over 10 minutes to get my cocktail delivered to the table. The drink was not very good. Food took another 30 minutes after we ordered (mind you, there was only one other table who had already eaten). The taste of the food was good but we were told by our server that bread came with our pasta dish, and then we were charged for the bread when the bill came. We didn’t ask for it, and didn’t need it, but were charged for it anyways. Server was a sweet girl but not very attentive. When the bill came, it included an automatic 18% tip for our table of 2 people. That is super disappointing and I don’t believe it’s fair. If it was a large party, I understand adding gratuity, but for a 2-top, I believe I should’ve had tipping discretion. The service she gave was not worth the 18% tip she automatically gave herself. The other tables that came in after us all had issues with their experience as well but the restaurant didn’t do anything to remediate. Was overall pretty disappointed.

It was cool. Cajun chicken paste wasn't worth $26 for the very small portion you get. The taste was a tad bit above average but nothing to brag about. Love the location and might recommend it to others.

The location was convenient walk from our hotel, and the layout and furnishings gave it a very relaxed vibe. On sunday night, there were few diners and our server was very attentive. Sadly, she had to explain they were out of a few items on the menu as their truck was coming on Monday? What we did have to eat was deliclious, although a bit pricey; halibut and steak. I hope this restaurant can survive, or maybe it lives from it's location across the street from the ball park? I would go back again.

The ambience and vibe at Curfew is great for date night or just grabbing drinks with friends. The service was good, and the food was not bad as well.

It was okay. We didn’t realize that it was inside of the hotel but that was fine. Nearly everything we ordered wasn’t available unfortunately. They finally updated the menu after the third item that we requested was unavailable. The ambience was lovely. The food was okay. It wasn’t worth $100 in our opinion. We walked in and were confused on where the host station was (it’s not visible at all). It took a min to finally find someone to seat us. And she seemed like she was not in the mood lol. We wouldn’t go back but we made the best of it.
