About this restaurant

  • Good for special occasions
  • Neighborhood gem
  • Great for creative cocktails
CURED Table & Tap is an exciting new restaurant in Columbia, Maryland that brings back fond memories of the neighborhood corner bar and the relaxing atmosphere that is created when good friends, great drinks, and classic comfort foods come together.
From the list of exceptional craft beers, to the creative cocktails, to the satisfying menu, CURED is all about crafting a laid back experience while still elevating the pairing of comfort food and thirst quenching drinks. Our goal is for every guest who visits us to feel as relaxed as if they were at their grandmother’s house (assuming their grandmother makes amazing craft cocktails and delicious food).

Food was very good. The noise was a problem. Maybe it was our placement by the front door (although it wasn’t that busy the night we were there), but we had a tough time hearing our conversation partly from two birthday celebrations and from poor acoustics (no sound deadening/absorbing materials). In summary, the food was good and the service was not that good. With the Merriweather district development, there are some very good alternatives to consider (and that are also walking distance to the Pavilion for shows).

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the food, but we're genuinely sorry that the noise level and service did not meet your expectations. We understand how important it is to be able to enjoy a conversation over a meal, and we regret that the acoustics and placement near the door made that difficult for you. Your feedback is invaluable, and we are actively discussing ways we can improve both our service and the atmosphere of our dining room. We know there are many wonderful options nearby, and we hope you'll consider giving us another chance to provide the kind of experience you deserve. We missed the mark this time, but we would be truly grateful for another opportunity to get it right.

We had the sweetest waitress ever! Didn’t catch her name but she was half Ethiopian. My brother in law married a woman from Ethiopian so it made for great conversation with her. Everyone loveeedddd their meal, however, my mother in law got the pulled pork sandwich. She didn’t seem to like it so I took a bite and it was awful. The meat seemed like it was overcooked in a crock pot for many hours. It was horrible, meanwhile the Brussels and our steaks were AMAZING! We all loved the crème brûlée for sure!

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re so happy to hear that your server made such a wonderful impression and that you enjoyed the steaks, Brussels sprouts, and crème brûlée. That said, we’re truly sorry the pulled pork didn’t meet expectations. We appreciate your honest feedback and will be revisiting that dish with our kitchen team. We hope to have the chance to welcome you back soon for an even better experience. We are grateful for your feedback and your honesty —guest feedback is the best tool we have at our disposal to improve our guest experience. We hope that you'll join us again soon and that we can provide a meal where every bite is something you love.

My wife and I decided to sit at the bar. The bartenders were Cat and Khari - very delightful and attentive. We tried the new Shrimp Wontons, very nice addition. I love bbq pulled pork so I opted for the Pulled Pork sandwich. It could have used some more sauce but other than that it was very good. My wife had the tried and true Avocado Salad. All in all a very good experience.

Food was metiocre. Had a couple Old Fashion's . Was advertised as smoked. Fine print said smoked bitters so not actually smoked. Duck fat fries were Royal Farm style wedges. Had me craving Rofo chicken.

WE had a great meal at Cured tonight. I go for the Mushroom soup which is to die for but the mussels were SO good. My friend had the coconut shrimp which she loved and my other friend had the soft shelled crab sandwich which she said was amazing. It was quiet enough that we could talk easily. All in all, a great dinner. We will all be back. Thank you.
