   We went for dinner and it was delightful! Amazing appetizers and entrees, very fresh and flavorful. The team has put a lot of thought into the dishes. I feel like “Cafe” undervalues this as a serious dining spot; maybe at least for dinner as the meal was exceptional and not “cafe” at all.

   Irate never fails to impress. Food, service and ambiance are superb. Located in the Southern Vermont Arts Center, where today the member artists exhibition opened. Tonya, our regular server in the dining room is wonderful. She is the best! I had a delish cup of soup to start followed by the Denver Omelette and great home fries. My partner had the fried chicken sandwich without the bread and loved every bite. For desert we split a chocolate dish which was spectacular.

   Excellent lunch spot, especially when there are not a lot of places to eat lunch in Manchester, VT. The food is delicious, the atmosphere cozy and elegant, and the service is excellent! The biggest plus is being able to explore the art work at The Southern Vermont Arts Center before or after lunch! A must see for yourself experience!

   Ambiance, view, food and service are the best. We always love this neighborhood favorite. Tonya is our favorite server and she is the best. Food is terrific.

   Always enjoy this restaurant in the Southern Vermont Arts Center. Food is excellent and service terrific. Our server Tonya is the best of the best. Today I had a bowl of broccoli soup to start and a Denver Omelette with amazing home fries. My lunch partner had a chicken sandwich, which was also delicious.

    This is a wonderful restaurant! Food is delicious, impeccable service and it’s fun to grab a glass of wine and walk around the art gallery! There are limited gluten-free entry options if you are not a big seafood lover. I wish there were more (or being able to sub GF pasta in for their pasta dishes). The first time we went there was an outstanding GF chicken dish on the menu but was not there on our second visit. So, I had the burger with no bun which was fine but not optimal for a Saturday night dinner. The rest was excellent and my husband absolutely loved all his dishes! For first timers, the road getting there may make you think you are lost! But keep going and the reward at the top is there!
