    Very mediocre but highly overpriced! For three small pieces of scallops added extra to the overcooked pasta, they charge you $29! Avoid this place!

    The wait staff, particularly Henrie, was outstanding. Very knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing. A little on the spendy side... but will go again.

    We had a great time.... The place was beautiful, the staff was very attentive and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner if you're looking to try something authentic with a modern flare. I would come back. Thank you

    The fresh baked bread is wonderful. Service is fantastic very attentive. Food is good and very accommodating. When we mentioned we need to change the spicy sauce of the pasta, the cook was very accommodating to change.

    Service was fantastic - attentive without being over-solicitous. However, there is literally not a single item available that doesn’t have an optional upsell companion- beware! Food was great but the upsell items are expensive, prices for upsell items are often undisclosed on the menu and add up quickly to an extremely expensive level - be sure to ask if budget is remotely a concern. $49 paella is one thing (and pricey). Optional $29 scallops upgrade (for four scallops) makes it a $78 entree - not worth it. In that vein, be very careful ordering from the special liquor cart. Nice, but expensive, meal. Genie (sp?) is great.

    We are visiting San Jose and seen great reviews for Cucina Venti. Its location is a little hidden but easy to find. We were greeted with such kindness from every member of their team. The ambiance was very relaxing. Quaint and exceptionally clean. I had the halibut with truffled risotto and a delicious glass of Flowers chardonnay. Hubby had fettuccine and asked if they could add chicken, they accommodated his request. He had a delicious Old Fashioned. They have the most amazing collection of wine and spirits. If you are wanting an amazing Italian meal, you must dine at Cucina Venti!
