   We went on New Year’s Eve and everything was just amazing. The service was fantastic. The cocktails are delicious and creative. The food was excellent. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

   The food is as good or better than any fine dining restaurant. I had the salmon and my husband had the roasted chicken. The chicken was moister than have ever had anywhere. The salmon was flavorful and will cook it at a temperature you prefer. Definitely will return.

   Covey’s cocktails are delicious and always innovative. Our Tortellini Michelle was really great, cooked to perfection with tortellini al dente, steak tender, and gravy sooo good and not over-salted which happens too often in restaurants. The Rye-Spice cocktail was perfect—a touch of sweet but not too much. The All Things Vice cocktail with Titos, chai, pumpkin puree, espresso, Baileys with a dash of nutmeg on top was a heavenly after dinner drink to sip slowly. The key lime pie, a complete contrast to the All Things Vice, was outstanding and held its own. The lime was flavor of course stood out…you could see the zest in it—but it was not overly tart nor was it sickening sweet. It was perfection. Our server was friendly, knew the menu, and never missed a beat. She mentioned having just graduated (I would assume from college) and there she was, cheerfully working on Christmas, providing exceptional service.

   Covey Kitchen had been on my “want to go” list for a while based on menu and previous reviews. Unfortunately, there was a new menu (changed a few weeks ago per server). The ambiance was semi sports bar, as there is a large bar and a tv shining into dining room. My husband and I came for dinner, we each had a drink and salad or soup, then left because entree menu was unappealing.

   So disappointed in our Thanksgiving meal. This was our 1st time there & we’re anxious to find a new place to dine. Nobody seemed to know what they were doing. My husband told the hostess our reservation was with Open Table but we got an email later in the evening wanting to know why we didn’t go. Our waiter was nowhere to be found. Hubby had to go in search of silverware and napkins. The waiter never picked up our used dinnerware. I wanted coffee with dessert but we couldn’t find him and never got it. The food COULD have been good, but the turkey, ham, & dressing was WAY too salty. The dressing was basically crumbs. The desserts were pretty and for the most part were good. But who doesn’t serve pumpkin or pecan pie on Thanksgiving? I’m pretty sure we won’t be returning.

   There was a piece of plastic attached to a hair in a cookie. The manager deducted a plate for that. The drinks were terrible even after redoing them. The food was okay but no pumpkin pie or pecan pie. The price per plate was a scary $74.

   The drinks took a long time to come to the table, actually our appetizers arrived first. They were very light on the alcohol. The food portions were tremendously and only one of us enjoyed their food (the pork chop). Prices are very high for the quantity and quality.
