   We booked dinner for 19.45 on the 11 of October. We arrived early shown to our table everything was set ready for us. What a beautiful restaurant to dine in my wife had spiced pumpkin soup to start I had the crispy squid if this was an advert for the main course we were in for a treat.My wife had the steak medium to weigh done I had the lamb the food was absolutely perfect and very reasonable The staff were very friendly and helpful so we booked to go back for our wedding anniversary and stay for 2 nights can't wait for May

   Scones were delicious, very generous with clotted cream. Lots of little cakes available. Would have preferred less sandwiches and had different savoury bits instead. Customer service was faultless; everyone was warm, welcoming and professional. A really lovely experience, would recommend to others.

    Booked a table online for lunch at 15:00 and when we got there, they said the kitchen closes at 15:00 so we had to order everything together. The issue I have is, why take bookings for 15:00 and later if the kitchen is closed? We wanted to order dessert and got told the kitchen was on a break and therefore we could not have dessert. We were so excited to try this restaurant and pay more for food and drinks so we expect to have good service. Well the service was horrendous, however the food and drinks were good. Definitely wouldn’t recommend, and won’t be returning.
