I always try new places and this year found the gem that is Counter & Bodega. The service and food were excellent, the waitress suggested my fiancé have the mofongo with skirt steak, which was delicious. I had the Pernil with rice and beans, also delicious. The ambiance was fantastic as they had salsa playing, but not so loud we couldn't have a conversation. Overall a great experience with great food and friendly service. I will definitely be going back I always try new places and this year found the gem that is Counter & Bodega. The ambiance was fantastic as they had salsa playing, but not so loud we couldn't have a conversation. Overall a great experience with great food and friendly service. Every year we remember my mom by having an authentic Puerto Rican dinner. I always try new places and this year found the gem that is Counter & Bodega. The service and food were excellent, the waitress suggested my fiancé have the mofongo with skirt steak, which was delicious. I had the Pernil with rice and beans, also delicious. The ambiance was fantastic as they had salsa playing, but not so loud we couldn't have a conversation. Overall a great experience with great food and friendly service. I will definitely be going back soon.

Our server was fantastic! The drinks were amazing and we had a great time.
We ordered a few dishes and shared amongst our group. The empanadas were delectable and the Mofongo was very tasty. The enchiladas were good, but we decided it would have been better as chicken and not steak. Everything was eaten all up and demolished…job done! We enjoyed all of our food!

I wanted to really enjoy this place however was not very impressed. Our seating area had a stent of like a wet rag. Bathroom was not tidy.
Food was ok… the best part was the Alcapurias.. rice was a little on the hard side. Drinks were nice and the waiters were pleasant. Don’t think I will be returning.

The food was great! It was as though someone’s abuela was in the kitchen cooking. Although the ran out of pernil my partner and I had pollo guisado and bistec. The drinks were strong and tasty! And the service was great!
