We were a party of 4. The confit duck on a bed of red cabbage was delicious but there wasn’t much cabbage. It seems the portion sizes have shrunk.

I think they were having an off day today or perhaps not enough staff for a busy Sunday service. Whilst the people who were serving were lovely, we had a wrong order, a long wait and the steak was too cold for the butter to melt on top. So a little disappointing for a Sunday lunch

Always reliable a good choice and the cocktail offer is great. On this occasion the service was a little slow and we had to rush our dessert which took a long time to arrive even though we said we had limited time.

As a regular visitor, I felt the service from the "mgr"wasn't great. He was not happy and not enjoying the evening. Other staff were great. Left feeling we might move on to pastures new.
