   Simply the best dining experience. Clare Smyth herself came to welcome us as we were there for my Wife’s 50th. Such a lovely lady. This restaurant is simply off the scale. Every component was phenomenal. There simply are not enough superlatives to capture how incredible Core is as an establishment.

   An absolutely delightful experience. The food, as you’d expect, is first class - wonderfully presented and delicious. What really makes this a great place is the team, Molly and Brie especially, were friendly, engaging and genuinely turned a great evening into an amazing one.

   What a fantastic experience! The food was incredible, the team were outstanding and the setting was beautiful. Claire has an outstanding eye for detail and it showed throughout our visit. We will definitely be returning and telling our friends to visit too. It was a perfect day for us and will always be a special memory. Thank you to Core Team. Kind regards Liz and David

   Outstanding! From beginning to end our experience was wonderful. We stopped at the bar for a drink. The ambiance was warm and welcoming. Of course the drink menu was fun and unique with classic options as well. Once seated, the evening was everything we hoped. Each course surpassed that last, especially in our daughter’s opinion. The service was warm, thorough, and seamless. We even had a slight view of the kitchen which was great. Capped the evening getting to speak to Chef. She is lovely. The talent here is apparent. Truly, a fabulous evening of stellar food. Hope to visit again.

   I have been to many amazing restaurants over the years but this was an experience NEVER to be forgotten. From walking into the restaurant which was breathtaking with the beautiful flowers and tables set it was something that takes your breath away. The food was exceptional , the service beyond exceptional and managed completely by Clare Smyth herself unlike many celebrity restaurants with just their name on the door! Thank you all for a truly memorable evening .

   Amazing experience at Core for lunch as a celebratory meal. From the service, you can clearly tell this is a 3 star restaurant. Staff were attentive and really friendly, and it was a nice touch as we walked in and out that the Chefs would greet us and wave us goodbye. Though this is a fine dining restaurant, the atmosphere was very relaxed which was mainly due to the staff making us feel at ease, and happy to engage in conversation. The food was incredible. It is great you are able to choose different tasting menus instead of the whole table picking one, as it enabled us to sample the different dishes from each. This is definitely a place to visit as a special occasion due to the price, but what you get in return is a memorable experience. I hope I will be able to come and dine here again!

    Very good food and service, however at the price presented it would be in your best interest to do your research and make sure your tastes align with the food served. Lobster roll and roasted chicken morsels; langostines, leeks and potatoes, veal, and duck off the seasonal menu, were all delicious. Turbot left something to be desired, and was garnished with apple that could not noticed with the other intense flavors. Dessert was rhubarb sorbet and their core-teser, a chocolate dish with chocolate ice cream. Both very good.
