Great valentine’s four course experience! Neighborhoood gem. Only thing I would say is the courses came out extremely fast; we hadn’t finished our starters and our main pastas and pizza were already on the table. Very delicious though and prompt service. Just felt a little rushed. Great atmosphere, cozy spot. Will be back!

On a Friday evening, Coppa was packed. The friendly, efficient wait staff have just enough room to walk between tables. You will know what folks on adjoining tables choose for dinner and what they talk about. That is potentially the down side. The food is delicious. We shared an order of the spicy arancini, which we recommend. I then had the mushroom pasta which was fabulous with thin slices of mushroom and plenty of parmesan on top of more rigatoni than I could finish. My partner loved the bucatini. Coppa has the feel of a neighborhood joint and the cuisine of an elegant restaurant.

Overall, my party's experience at Coppa was rushed, chaotic, and underwhelming. My party ordered two appetizers to share and one came to the table in less than five minutes; the other appetizer came about fifteen minutes later. The bottle of wine that we ordered was brought to the table between the two appetizers so the order of things already was skewed. When we finished the first course, after waiting for twenty minutes, we cleared our own plates and kept our dirty silverware as there was no chance that the waiter would clear the table or bring fresh cutlery for the main course. We were going to top our wine glasses rather than wait or feel like we were pressing the waiter but he did come to the table to check on us. He proceeded to top off three glasses with uneven amounts, and left the fourth glass with barely a sip of wine, with no oppologies. Strange, so we shared some from our glasses with my guest. About 20 minutes later, two main dishes were set in front of my guests as we waited for the other two dishes. After ten minutes, I flagged the waiter to check on the remaining two dishes and he explained to me that because I hadn't dined at Coppa before I didn't understand that Coppa is a small restaurant (obviously) and dishes don't come out in any order because the kitchen is cooking for all tables at once. Rather than engage with this lame and inappropriate excuse, I left it alone so that I didn't offend anyone. Coppa is a cozy, quaint neighborhood establishment with average to good food, terrible service, and I would not recommend based on my visit.
