Coopers Hawk DG wasn't up to their usual standards today. Both the scallops and salmon were overdone, our server may have been having a bad day, and it general it just wasn't up to par. A friend mentioned her meal wasn't up to par on Saturday, also. I hope it turns around again.

We had the most delightful server last night. Her name is Alma. The experience was even more amazing because a nearby table was giving her a hard time. However, despite their multiple complaints, Alma remained polite and cheerful to us and the other table. She’s a real pro and a testament to her training! Another great evening at Cooper’s Hawk! Thanks!

Brought an out of town guest for lunch along with two other friends. The first two things she tried to order from the menu, they were out of. We were there at 12:00 for lunch. It was surprising they were already out of two entrees. Our waitress was good, but it took forever to get our food. I ordered a wedge salad which was not a wedge when it came. It was all chopped up. I’ve been here many times for dinner but never for lunch. With all the choices we have, probably won’t return soon.

I’m a fan of the food at Coopers Hawk but their service ALWAYS leaves a lot to be desired. Yesterday we came in at 1130am and the open at 1100. Out of the Drunkin Shrimp appetizer!!!! Very very poor. If the truck had not arrived yet, the manager needs to reach out to the District manager for direction OR borrow the inventory from a sister store to cover it. As i said, love the food and the concept but there is ALWAYS an issue with service no matter which restaurant in Illinois we go to. No matter what time of day. They need to train staff better.

Our server,Amanda, was excellent! She went above and beyond. We started out with wine samples from both February and March and she explained the differences. She allowed us to take our time in between each course. Great wine, good meal and wonderful server. We will definitely ask for Amanda by name next time!

Meet a friend (who has never been to a Coopers Hawk because she thought it was strictly a wine establishment) for lunch and she was very impressed. She ordered the Chicken Madeira and I ordered the half flatbread/ salad combo - both were very good. She said she will definitely be back again.

Let me say that Cooper's Hawk is normally my favorite restaurant. However, last night was not up to par. My food was cold and tasteless. The waitress didn't come back to check after the food was served or I would have sent it back. It was not that she was busy because we were early and there were only two tables being used in the room. I am very disappointed!

Very good experience, seated quickly, we were seated next to a drafty window and were swiftly relocated with hesitation. Service was prompt, food delivered in a reasonable amount of time and good food temperature.
