Service was extremely slow on a Sunday night. The poor server had almost all of a large section and it took 90 minutes just to get our appetizer and main course. It was not the server’s fault, as she had one huge table and many smaller tables and was struggling to keep up. While we were offered compensation for a dessert, we declined because we knew we would have to wait another 30-45 minutes. Management clearly took too many reservations. We like the food, but will likely go to Burr Ridge instead to avoid these service problems.

We were seated right away at our scheduled time, our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, she made sure that our appetizers, soup, and the meal were timed perfectly, and followed up to ensure everything was as we ordered. She checked in periodically to make sure all was well and if we required anything additional. All in all, it was a great dining experience.

This is my fave location! I live near the Montgomery restaurant but came for an event put on by anew aesthetics in their private room. Stayed for dinner with friends afterwards. Their Lobster & Crab Bisque Soup is the best that I've had than at any other CHW location that I've ever been to. It was really thick and not watered down. So good! Our table also ordered two of their Downer's Grove "exclusives" offered on the January chefs recommendations menu: Crunchy Califlower and Chilean Sea Bass. Both were yummy, but the Chilean Sea Bass entrée had way too many red onions in the rice-salad mix which over powered the entire dish for us. That, plus our server-Carl getting our checks confused and charging them to the wrong credit cards after we told him three times which card belonged to which check (there were only 2 checks) is the only reason why I didn't give this review all 5 stars across. My friends and I worked out the difference of the mischarges amongst ourselves, so as not to put Carl through the extra trouble. But still had a great evening!

Excellent experience! Sat at a high top in upstairs bar. Our server Carl was extremely attentive and allowed us to relax with our wine. Our meal was fantastic, parm crusted mahi and chairasco steak. Love this location for their friendliness and consistent servers and meals.

Surprisingly slow for a holiday evening dinner. Testing of the new wine "Vin Noir" was a pleasant surprise. I will be buying more of it. Pork Chops and vegetables done perfectly and highly recommended.

It was a fun luncheon! I highly recommend the Barrel Reserve. Yummy! Our group had gnocchi, Dana Chicken, Chicken Piccata and Grouper. All were delicious. We have been to several different Cooper’s Hawk restaurants. The food is consistently delicious!
